Halo Manash is an entity drawing its life-force from beyond all limitations. It is a means through which we communicate, a vehicle for bridging the worlds of being and non-being, for journeying to the depths and heights. It is a call – a symbol ever-present and thus not bound by limits of time and space.
Halo Manash signifies both the one and the many at the same time: the abstract and the concrete, the hidden and the revealed... the ever-flowing; evolution, expansion, the cyclic yet progressive continuity.
It is the aim of the personnel involved in Halo Manash to seek, explore, experience, study and decipher reflections of the ever-shifting shapes and spaces of different worlds. These findings are presented through elemental music and various visual elements. In Halo Manash, sound and movement come together as rhythmical language that facilitates communion with elemental beings. Our aim is to revitalise one of the oldest subconscious forms of communication, to open the gates with the aid of music and widen the horizon of perception concerning states of otherness lying in-between the cardinal directions. so,here is an in deep interview we have with HALO MANASH just one month ago....so,just feel the atavistic emantions of this spiritual dark force under the primal eerie atmospheres

Your most recent emanation is “Language of Red Goats”, right. So, which kind of oneiric visions and primal atavisms where explored for such development, knowing the ritualistic methods handled by you though each sonic mantras (your releases)?
Halo Manash emanations and works are often rooted in primal experience and knowledge arising from such experience, and so it is also with Language of Red Goats. The album is the result of our working systematically in specific spheres of experience and spirit(s) for a year-long period, guided by dream herbs, oneiric visions and the light of lunar tides. The album is akin to a primitive field recording in the realm of oneirotropic exploration, and aims to be a cartography of cavernous elemental realms and regions, sources and springs that run deep and thick with the fluids of life, death and dream.

The work was ”seeded” at the Thin Veils and has been gathered at Harvest time, and is offered to the seeker as a libation and guide into the ever-liminal, shrouded spaces, for dream-vigils and awakenings.
Language of Red Goats is a complete work in itself, but can also be viewed as the first facet of a tripartite series of works that are part of one holistic creation – three faces of the same being.

So, in connection with last question. Explain us about the “Nether-Nectar”, such oneiric elixirs ritually gathered and seeded around the autumn equinox? Could we say, “Nether-Nectar” is a kind of materialization in this causal plane of your hidden astral emanations explored through the use of certain sacred plants, gnosis, and fluids?
The Nether Nectar is a special, potent and very real plant-based oneiric elixir, ritually gathered, prepared and blessed by us, that was a central guide to us during the creation of the work. We were involved in a year-long systematic exploration of this plant and its associated realms, through which we slowly developed a relationship with it, and it has thusly grown to be a deep and powerful ally. To our knowledge, such extensive creative work involving this specific plant has not been done before. The luminous presence and being of the plant manifested itself to us several times, and guided the process into fruition. It still remains as an ever-present guide to us, even if now in more subtle ways.

A special limited edition of Language of Red Goats came with a bottle of the Nether Nectar, but this edition is not for sale - only given and offered as a libation of Light to those friends and fellow travelers genuinely seeking and sharing our exploration of the realms of the Red Goats.

Also, you mention that the work at “Language of Red Goats” is a kind of connection with lunar forces, magickally talking. So such, works also includes the energy through the sexual polarity, endocrine system and chakras?
Seen in the context of the forthcoming trilogy of works, Language of Red Goats could be seen as feminine or ”maternal” as relating to its polarity, whereas the newly-released Am Kha Astrie could be seen as masculine, and the forthcoming Polar Stones and Sky Awakenings could be seen as both - the consummation of masculine and feminine polarities.

The trilogy can be viewed as a treelogy – a tripartite work in the shape of a tree, with roots, trunk and branches. Language of Red Goats, the first part, is the celestial Lunar seed in the dark earthly womb that gives form to the roots, that spread themselves in the underworlds, in the nether realms, in cavernous depths populated by serpentine, slithering creatures. Am Kha Astrie, the second part, is the trunk, the pillar that breaks the surfaces and planes, crossing the thresholds, and emerges upward, rising into this world – it is horns spiraling skywards, antlers ascending into light. Polar Stones and Sky Awakenings is the branches of the tree, reaching toward Sol and Stars and beyond; it is the leaves and fruit of those branches and their skybound nectar; the cradle of winged, feathered creatures - it is the Crown at the peak, the Heavenly Fire.

The works are also tree-faced in many other aspects: in relation to the seasons, states of being, and various other correspondences. Language of Red Goats is winter and dream and awakening. Am Kha Astrie is spring and birth and coming-into-being. Polar Stones and Sky Awakenings is summer, life, death, re-birth, passing-into-new-being. Only three seasons because in more archaic times our ancestors only knew of the three mentioned seasons (winter, spring, summer), autumn being a later addition. The work as a whole represents an eternal spiral, a total transformative cycle of Life, Death and Re-birth.
And, of course these aspects and correspondences are not stale and solid, but rather fluxuating and approximate, and yet possibly the dominate characteristics of these various sides of the work, offered here to help the seeker navigate through the terrains, if he/she so chooses. These are also of course only the plainly and openly perceivable aspects of the work – other aspects are there for the seeker to discover for themselves, who is of course encouraged to come to his own conclusions, which might be equally valid. The pilgrimage that is undertaken with sincerity and pure intent will provide all the answers one needs.

Halo Manash prefers not to use or present things in the context of any pre-existing spiritual systems, maps, symbols or traditions. Although we of course are aware of many such diverse paths and approaches, and might even have had or have relations with such. Rather – Halo Manash is its own symbol(s), guide and being; rooted in the eternal, and simultaneously a novel and unique expression of what we see as a primal Ur-spirit(s).

“The Red Goats” are own emanations from your subconscious, which you develops to awaken and exalt consciousness when working magically at oneiric explorations?
We prefer not to extensively analyze and dissect our own work in public, as that tends to trivialize and limit its perception. When a work is completed, manifested and realized, it is offered to the external world, and we let go of it. Sometimes people put too much effort in trying to decipher what we personally intend with some aspect of the work, rather than experiencing and appreciating it on a personal level directly for themselves. Individuals are encouraged to approach it within their own context, and trust their own experiences and intuition. Also, emphasis and value should be put in the effort of seeking something in itself; to travel beyond ones own limits, to journey to the crossroads of other worlds, to intentionally make a sacred passage, internally and/or externally – that is pilgrimage.

Do you think when artificial ego limits dies, the objective universe is dissoluted, and from the light of such illumination or reality, gnosis is the only thing which reminds? And how important is gnosis for you according to your magickal paradigms, and how it affects the concrete evolution of HALO MANASH as a living entity?
Halo Manash is beyond magic(k)al paradigms. But to use your terminology and context, ”gnosis” is of course of central importance; the gnosis kardias, knowledge of the heart. Or one might use the Sanskrit word and Hindu concept of Darśana to describe somewhat similar experiences and understanding, glimpses of the divine. However, in the light and dawning of such experiences, revelations and insight, all such words, categories and ”isms” (even Gnosticism itself) must fall by the wayside and vanish.

In my opinion HALO MANASH is like a black hole, a way to connect yourself through the worlds of being, not being, solution and dissolution, death and rebirth…so, could we say HALO MANASH is all into one, and one into all at the same time?
All interpretations of Halo Manash are valid in as far as they serve the individuals making the interpretations. In the light of this, yours is a valid one. Indeed, Halo Manash can be approached using pre-existing paradigms in the context of some tradition or system, or without any knowledge or interest in such things, but ultimately it is all there for the seeker to discover, in their own way.

…and referring the last question.so, do you agree when saying HALO MANASH breaks the limits of time and space, and converges in a personal reality offered to others (listeners) to carve deep within subconscious to find their own HALO MANASH?
Maybe we could agree on this to a certain extent, if we understand this in the same way.
Halo Manash is a living, breathing, dreaming Being that transforms and evolves constantly and has a life-force, will and consciousness of its own. It lives inside and outside of us, but we do not claim to ”own” or ”posses” it, and by its nature it is expansive and ever-seeking. We are the Dream that it dreams, the shadow and illumination it casts, the masks that it wears, behind which lies the very face of Halo Manash itself. That face is a manifestation from and reflection of what we call the infinite, formless, and absolute. To gaze into the eye(s) of that face is to see beyond all dualities and divisions (e.g. self and other etc.), to stare into the highest peaks and deepest depths of what is, and beyond; that is, in essence, to experience Halo Manash.

One of the principal basis of your work at HALO MANASH is to experiment, explore, and connect with other levels of existence and to get in contact with some elemental entities for your own personal development?
That is partially one aspect of it, although ”personal development” is a relative and rather limited term and concept, and not necessarily always an aim for us, although it often can be a natural by-product of our experiences and journeys.
As we have stated elsewhere, Halo Manash is a pilgrimage to the borderlands of dreams, pure consciousness, and primal being – and possibly beyond.

Pilgrimage is undertaken internally and externally with clear focus, sincerity and intentional purity, often without heavy prior attachments to specific aims or results of such workings. Often these workings are undertaken with a sense of empathic ”merging” and ecstatic abandon with the presences, spirit(s) or elements in question, and not via a drawing of limits and arrogant ”commanding” of such for personal power and profit, which seems to unfortunately be a popular approach, at least in many Western traditions. The personae involved in Halo Manash are a canvas through and upon which these pilgrimages are imprinted and carved.

The ”results”, meaning the causal manifestations of pilgrimage, i.e. ”what we bring back”, can sometimes be very harrowing experiences, as ”personal development” of this kind (call it ”spiritual” for lack of a better word) can be very painful and terrifying. Yet it is carved deep in our nature to pursue this path, and to trust it will take us where we are destined.

It is often transformation, pure and simple – a snake shedding its skin, or a butterfly emerging from a caterpillar – it is natural and imperative on the same level for us. One, who is not actively engaged in a process of birth, is passively engaged in a process of death. It is accepting impermanence, disappearance and transformation. It is the confrontation with death and ultimately transcendence of some aspect of being. And yet it is the eternal spiral of creation-destruction and passing-into-new-being, with all the terror, ecstasy and divine awe that it implies that is at the root of all.

Symbolic sorcery, sigils are elements you use to exalt subconscious, so such visual elements are focused to bring HALO MANASH from audial to another reality, in this case a visual spectrum, containing the same essence of such elemental forces evoked in your rituals?
To use your terminology: if our releases are our mantras, then Halo Manash itself is the yantra, and all that it entails.

In other words, Halo Manash is a sacred vehicle and instrument in itself; how it manifests externally (or if it manifests externally at all, i.e. it remains an internal manifestation only) can vary greatly, although so far the manifestations or materializations have been mostly of an aural nature. But, to limit it to that one form would be an error. Halo Manash has manifested or materialized equally as film, photograph, drawing, ritual, journey, performance, sigil, talisman, cultural artifact etc., and can indeed take any shape, or remain formless. In Halo Manash there is no separation, no distinction – all is a part of the same whole.

We hesitate to start lecturing anyone on sigils, sorcery, magic(k) or similar areas, as most people these days are so knowledgeable on these matters already, and proper information is widely accessible to those who seek it. In fact, it seems sometimes that information and dialogue on and around these subjects has been so thoroughly and perhaps overly saturated, that those things in themselves have taken central place - theory over practice, abstraction over realization, outer appearance over inner essence. Magic(k) has become a subculture, a ”scene” and a hobby, with its own outer normative trappings and clichés, and much of it is performed for obviously dubious or juvenile purposes; and at the same time it is an evolutionary tool and creative catalyst for some. If magic(k) is to be of any lasting value, it should be integrated and harnessed into an organic and refining part of being, that is manifested in ”non-magical” ways also, rather than being an endless source of theoretical discussion and empty posturing. In the end, perhaps there should simply be less words, less talk.

Self made instruments, bells, metal bowls, gongs are used to increase the excitatory gnosis created by HALO MANASH. So, could you tell us about the process when creating a determinate concept release?
We communicate and deliver our aural invocations often not using words, but rather the primal Ur-language and cosmic vibrations of sound itself. In this process the instruments have central significance, as they are what via us manifests and produces the sounds. We use a variety of acoustic instruments that often fall into the category of traditional, archaic, ritual, or self-made (and more seldom but occasionally modern as well). We put emphasis on the organic and animate materials of the instruments that often has a definite aura of their own related to the material that holds their spirit.

Relating to the intentions and framework of the workings or sessions, the instruments of the proper material, quality, sound and spirit are chosen, acquired and/or constructed. This in itself is a part of the process of creation: the instruments and their materials have to correspond and resonate with the intentions properly – hence, this is rarely done at random. In the case of some instruments that have an exceptionally powerful presence and spirit, a life of their own, it is necessary to communicate with the instrument itself, and ”ask” if it should be used – they should be treated with proper respect.

To give an example of instruments we have used in the past, we can mention drums and trumpets made out of human and animal skulls and bones, percussive instruments made out of antlers and jawbones, wind instruments made out of horns and shells, other instruments out of wood, clay, stone, feathers and so forth. We also use a multitude of metal-percussions and drums, such as a wide array of gongs, cymbals, bells, rattles, and the like, as well as self-made and self-titled ”thunder-sheets” and ”solar discs”, and so forth. This process and relationship is also a continually evolving one, as we are constantly seeking and finding, as well as conceptualizing and creating new instruments: we find the approach, process and end result inspiring.
Often, if not always, the specific surroundings, space and the elemental sounds themselves present at the location of the working during the sessions also become an essential source of sound. This may be utterly subtle in the actual recording, or very forthright and present, but still it is very much an integral part of the totality of sound. Sometimes sounds also emerge that have no definite identifiable source at all – whereupon we accept and welcome these sounds as presences when they come.
Our acoustic instruments that often are of a primal and archaic nature and materials, are usually harnessed via an electronic medium and modern technology. This represents a merging of the archaic and primal with the technological, wherein both of these ends of the spectrum (if they can be considered that) are amplified by each other, creating a complementary and timeless synthesis.

The aural manifestations of Halo Manash are language without words. Listen and learn.

“SYoMA” was built through the idea of transformation and auto cannibalism. So, from a point of view, could we say one of the main purposes of this album is to destroy patterns of your own personality through aural manifestations?

We have never felt it overly essential to explain, for fellow explorers, too much or too precisely about our own encounters, rather the opposite; we do not want excessively interfere or restrict the utilization of individuals own instincts.

The manifestations of the album can be considered as sort of guides, a kind of a direction sigils, or as a language of entities, which usher you towards the ultimate realization of the transpersonal entity, SYoMA. The destruction of the fixed patterns of personality simply allows one to overcome the limitations of for e.g. binding cultural factors and thus the fundamental aspects of SYoMA, or any other of our work, will be revealed to the perceiver in a form of pure atavistic knowledge.

The elemental impulse, which catalyzed the whole creative process of SYoMA, started to grow gradually during and after the completion of Par-Antra I: VIR album.. Initially, the prime mover revealed only glimpses of its external appearance and as time went by, it was through careful personal exploration that the all-encompassing communication reached the level of concrete actualization. However, one can never stress enough the obvious fact that the primeval force still continues to interact with a seeker whenever the particular current run strong.

To experience the true power of SYoMA, one will have to travel through many layers of hidden regions and inner states to find the pure source – and it is from this source where one will be able to find and also learn the true essence of what eventually got the name SYoMA. A comprehensive, long-lasting communication with the entities is the only way to reach the pure knowledge.

We sincerely believe that the fundamental aspects of our works can be achieved by everyone through a metaphysical pilgrimage. The album will surely reveal the passage for the humble explorer, which will lead one towards Sacral Meeting. There are many signs that direct you on your way and at last you will have to let Halo Manash be your vehicle; You have the all the needed tools, the rest is up to you.

Lastly as a small curiosity the name of the album, translates roughly to Devour Your Own Soma.

Could you tell us a deep more about r.A.S.H.n.k.a-RA LP + DVD. And its magickal environmental phenomena and visions at specific locations? And do you think with this release HALO MANASH has taken just a part of the dynamism and magickal exploration you experienced? Or is there still so much to work in future as well?
r.A.S.H.n.k.a-RA was birthed during Summer of 2005, in two distinct and intense sessions resulting in the two-fold nature of the work, lasting for 4 days and nights (In 4 Elements – DVD film) and 2 days and nights (In PolarDual – LP album) consecutively. The location and elemental landscape was a central presence and aspect of the work, and it is a lakeside and wilderness in northern Finland. The work was thereafter refined, shaped, reflected upon and realized after a Halo Manash pilgrimage to India and Nepal, in the shades, snow and silence of Winter 2006.

r.A.S.H.n.k.a-RA, beyond even its creative manifestation, is first and foremost a very real and primal experience, a ritual shedding of surfaces and an elemental merging and revelation, a rite-of-passage that left deep chasms and signs on our skin and spirit, ever-present although subtle.

The film In 4 Elements forms the first part of r.A.S.H.n.k.a-RA, the other being the album In PolarDual. The parts or works, creations/destructions, are interrelated and intertwined, two sides of the same whole, the same cycle. Both are the result of very intense work and experience, where the personae of Halo Manash itself became the canvas of birth and death. The work can be viewed as a template for transformative, transcendent experience.

The film In 4 Elements is the first released foray of Halo Manash into cinematic realms. It is very real in the sense of that nothing in the film is acted or performed according to specific plans, all actions, movements, and sounds recorded and captured during the sacred moments arising of themselves. What one can experience in the film is a condensation of an immense energy and intense experience, meant and constructed very deliberately and carefully to be as an invocation in itself, where everything is meant to convey or symbolize something, including the shifting colours and other aspects of cinematic language and expression.

The same applies to the album-part of r.A.S.H.n.k.a-RA, In PolarDual, that can be viewed as the dark twin of In 4 Elements. Created in the growing shadows of ending summer, and contrasting strongly to the somewhat serene ambience of In 4 Elements, it is a tearing down, a dive into the depths, where the sessions themselves took on a fierce and frenzied, somewhat possessed character.
The days of the sessions were spent preparing, building and setting up for the nights, when the ritual sessions themselves took place. But, in the end, those days and nights in themselves were part of the ritual as a whole, as we constantly experienced and sensed a presence(s), and were guided by signs, and blessed by auspicious weather, without which the work could not have been realized.

Well, almost everything about HALO MANASH was revealed here. So, keep on floating through primal atavisms and a pleasure to share this interesting conversation with you. Your last words are more than appreciated here.
Let us just say that we scratched the surface here; the most obvious output of the group, meaning the lingual, musical and visual dimensions should not be considered greater than just mere vapour arising from the seething cauldron holding the very Elixir of the Being itself. In closing, thank you for the interview.

Halo Manash concerts in Europe and Russia are being planned and organized at present time. In addition to concerts, there are also plans for more multi-dimensional and multi-medial Halo Manash events, such as exhibitions of photographs and screenings of films. ‘Orryelle’ is a variant spelling of ‘oriel’: a projecting bay window corbelled or cantilevered out from a wall. ‘Defenestrate’ means to throw a person or a thing out of a window. According to Webster’s dictionary, ‘Bascule’ is an apparatus or structure (as a drawbridge) in which one end is counterbalanced by the other on the principle of the see-saw, or by weights.
If you add to these words a probable origin of the ‘Orryelle’ spelling, the name becomes a clear description of both mage and Magick. An orrery is an apparatus showing the relative positions and motions of bodies in the solar system by balls moved by wheelwork.
The one who created and wears this name is an Australian person of many parts, arts and hearts who enjoys a life of Initiations, receiving and bestowing them as he goes. As a window, Orryelle transmits light (and shadow) through drawing, writing, performance art, body- mind- and spirit- modification, extreme travels, music, and the ability to attract and work with kindred spirits around the world.
Also as a window, Orryelle’s magick can help those who meet him to be launched up and out into new realizations and manifestations, thrown out of the window of common knowledge and common sense and into new ways of seeing. The Bascule part assists the window part as a matter of operational balance through counterweights. Magick requires engineering skills to build sets and props for ritual theater, both in a designated performance space as well as astrally.
Among the influences on Orryelle’s magick are the Magickal Children of Austin Osman Spare, especially Chaos Magick, sigil-making and the shamanic services of bringing back visions and their wisdom to the tribe in dance, or chant, or symbol. Another major facet of this succession from Spare is the descent of the Silver Dusk, a lunar, arachnean, artistic and intuitive response and counterpoint to the more solar and structured magick of the Golden Dawn and their heirs.
He is his own Materia Magicka, his physical body a palimpsest of his workings traced in tattoos, piercings, and, in one set of photos, a pair of wings. Orryelle has manifested his anima physically through hormone elixirs and body modification and has held an Alchemical Marriage with hirself, making a charming couple indeed. The instruments of Orryelle’s arts and magicks include, but aren’t limited to: The Metamorphic Ritual Theatre Company, which presents public rituals aiming to transform rather than merely entertain the audiences; the ever-expanding digital archives and galleries of The Mutation Parlour; and the The HermAphroditic ChAOrder of the Silver Dusk, a global multicultural and multisubcultural blend of tradition and innovation.
Orryelle co-developed with other ChaOrder initiates The Choronzon Machine, a Ritual Opera and musickal-mechanical-magickal device for generating analogue fractals; is a co-coordinator of iNSPiRALink. Multimedia Press; is editor of this IMPress’s SilKMilK MagiZain, and creator of The BOOK of KAOS Tarot Deck.
In the last eight years or so Orryelle has been extensively involved in The Horus-Maat Lodge, channeling several double- current Libers such as Pennae-Ultim-Atum and The Book of Going Back by Night. Other affiliations and initiations include the AdiNath tantric tradition, the EOD, the SSS and the I:.I:. He is also the Australian ambassador of The Dionysian (Down-)Underground.
Orryelle knows what he’s doing and he does it well. Spending time and practice with his works is a good investment, in my opinion. I had the pleasure of holding a rite with him and a colleague at the Serpent Mound in Ohio a few years ago as part of his visiting holy/power places worldwide. His words and actions were appropriate and well-chosen, the power rose without delay, and the charge was sent strongly and cleanly.
I’ve adopted his use of chanting a note for each of the major Chakras to a western scale, ascending and descending depending on which direction one’s heading at the time. The Chakra-tone chant works well for banishments, astral transportation, and attunements of various kinds. (Like musicians, magickians don’t steal from each other; they only borrow.)

Orryelle, let’s just start with this (dis)infor.ma.tive conjunction of visions, expressions, knowing: In which way was born the idea to develop your internal & external magickal experimentations through METAMORPHIC RITUAL THEATRE performances?
Metamorphic Ritual Theatre is one of the primary expressions on the outer of the magick of the HermAphroditic ChAOrder of the Silver Dusk. Theatre is a socially-acceptable kind of ritual in the modern west and as such is a means of reaching people who may not otherwise consciously engage with magick or mythos. So it is a way of opening the gates to the public. Many will perceive it merely as entertainment, but there are usually at least a few who pick up the symbolic keys offered and realize there is much more to it than that.
Although theatre is intrinsically ritualistic and has its roots in religious and theatrical ceremonial catharthis in Ancient Greece, most theatre groups or productions don’t acknowledge its magickal aspects and so fail to fully realize its potential for transformation or metamorphosis as well as entertainment.
It was from the conscious acknowledgement of these roots and potentials that Metamorphic Ritual Theatre Co. was spawned.

Does the use of sorcery symbolism, archetypal transformations, and imagery offer a perfect gate to audience to enter the artistic magickal labyrinths you want to express in each performance?
It works for a lot of people. Archetypes and ancient symbols have a particularly powerful effect in that they speak to the subconscious or deep mind. Audience members may not consciously know what a particular symbol or archetype is but it may still make an impression by triggering their mythic memory or DNA resonance, opening their psyche to further mutation or at least contemplation.
Sometimes we have created actual physical labyrinths to house these labyrinths of archetypes and symbols, and these I feel have been some of our most effective ritual performances as rather than being spectators ‘audience’ have to physically enter and engage with an immersive environment, therefore they are more likely to engage more deeply with it on other levels also.

And entering the labyrinths, people can explore deeply within the dark realms of unconsciousness through a reality based on abrasive, suggestive visions focused in the visual and audio performances developed by you as artist?
I don’t know about abrasive. I guess in some cases some of our imagery may seem abrasive to some people, if it threatens their conceptions of reality, but it is not our intention (usually) to be abrasive. Rather we intend to seduce our audience, to lure them into another world from which they can be affected more progressively. But of course to people unfamiliar with some of our more extreme imagery and sounds or ideas expressed through them, this can be challenging.
With Metamorphic Ritual Theatre not all of the artistic impetus comes from myself. While I co-ordinate and seed our productions, they are often developed further as a group, so several people involved contribute on an artistic level. I’m rarely one for presenting to other performers a finished script with specific lines and everything- it’s a more organic process than that.

The ambitious project “Loom Of Lila” was a convergence of time and space, conjunction & dissolution, creation & destruction, microcosm & macrocosm, death & rebirth, but with the characteristic animism given by Arachnean Kali as principal archetype?
Yes. She summarizes so much to me –and I think to the deep minds of many- as a deity that can represent Fate, Time, creation and destruction, yes, all of those things. So she is a primal essence whose image will conjure for many their deepest fears of death, inevitability (destiny) etc. and thus hopefully help them process and overcome these kinds of intrinsic phobias or obstacles to evolution.
Loom of Lila also explored the very nature of Deity itself, as egregore of collective belief, as Fate co-created by its individual components. Empowerment of self as a recognized constituent of divinity was the goal.

It is known “The Choronzon Machine” has a high connection with Tarot trumps. Is this ritual opera a path to reality; I mean concrete qliphotic forces developed through unconscious mutations regarding the dark nature of Choronzonic energies?
The Choronzon Machine is a reflection of reality, a microcosmic mechanism designed to echo macrocosmic currents. Our apprehension of Choronzon was perhaps an unusual one however, as we perceived Him as being not necessarily malevolent, depending on one’s approach and perspective. The nature of most so-called ‘demons’ or dark forces are dependent of course on how one relates to them.

And how do you relate “the Choronzon Machine” to your ‘Book of Kaos’ tarot, knowing chaos is a dynamic fluidic force latent in the universe. And tell us more about the Kaos Tarot’s vessels generated by your arachnean manifestation?
Well Order is as much a component of my tarot as is Chaos, since a Book (or a tarot deck) is a means of ordering or structuring information or phenomena. In The Choronzon Machine ritual opera the tarot was more of a means of organizing or ordering the more chaotic energies in the production, of harnessing Choronzon for example to pull the Chariot along our path of Intention. The pairing of reflective tarot trumps in each scene gave us a structure with which to order the creative flux of ideas the machine was generating once we activated it.
This same kind of structure or system –since it concerns connections or correspondences between one thing and another- can also be related to Arachne’s web. The Book of Kaos Tarot draws together diverse strands of different mythologies, esoteric models, cultural paradigms and religious pantheons into the umbrella of the Tarot to weave a syncretic system of inter-relationship that as well as creating conceptual links is also practically useful for divinatory and even conjurational purposes.

Do you think art is Magick, causing expressions of change according to our will? Art + magick =generation of a dynamic mutation within your own concepts of an abstract reality expressed through sculpture, paint, animation, video, photography, theatre, musick?
I think all Art is inherently Magickal, but am disappointed at how few modern artists will acknowledge this or explore it more purposefully. As a channel for the subconscious, Art retains and even propagates mystery where Science is dedicated to the removal of mystique in the light of logic and reason. Thus art is more likely to explore fresh territory rather than just attempt to understand or define existing territory. Magick’s association with mystery thus affiliates it closely with Art, and the major purpose of The HermAphroditic ChAOrder of the Silver Dusk is to explore this connection deliberately. To me, Artwork of any medium (and I find they tend to cross-pollinate each other wonderfully) is the prime menstruum or outlet for magickal expression, the transition from abstraction, yes, to manifest reality.

Are your works in astral magick, shamanic trips through atavistic states of trance, principal basis for the very creative expressionism, developed by each one of your artistical expressions?
One of the primary foundations of my Artistic expression, yes; but also I like to create at times not from some pre-envisioned astral or shamanic experience, but directly from the subconscious so that I myself don’t know what is going to come out onto the page/computer/canvas/recording-device, etc. except even as it is emerging…

It will be interesting to know more in-depth information about the mysterious connection between you and Kali, which ended with the writing of ‘The Book of the Spider’ (a channelled transmission included in ‘A Brief HIRStory of TimEmiT fo yrotSRIH feirB A’)?
I’m sure that’s not the end- in fact my relationship with Kali has deepened considerably since then, especially in the recent (Oct/Nov 07) journeys I had in India; but certainly that transmission was a culminative peak. I do not actually see Arachne (Who seems to be the primary ‘author’ of the Book of the Spider, in at least one of her forms) as being the same thing as Kali; I just see many links and correlations between them.

I think it is a potentially dangerous aspect of ‘Chaos Magick’ to directly equate a deity of one pantheon with a similar one of another, as their differences are as important as their similarities. However, I do find it valid in this ‘Information Age’ of cross-cultural pollination –itself a thing which relates to the Hindu concept of the Kali Yuga or Age of Chaos- to speak of hybrid deities which pertain to certain aspects of different deities. One such energy I have worked with intimately is ‘Kali-Arachne’ but I still distinguish this from Kali per se, Who in Herself has many different forms and attributes in different streams of Vedic tradition. One of these forms I have especially gone deeply with recently is Smashan-Kali or Kali of the Cremation Grounds, an extantly terrifying aspect of the dark Goddess Who presides over such places. I spent quite a bit of time at the Tarapith sacred Smashan in North-East India recently and it was intensely transformative. The horrific physical reality of watching bodies burning up close –I won’t go into the gory details here!- and accompanying *experiential* realization of the mortality of the flesh, eventually gives way upon meditation to an enlightening reminder of the immortality of the soul. Similarly Kali’s outer form with protruding tongue, necklace of skulls, belt of human hands etc. is a mask which veils the ultimately nurturing reality of Vishvamata, the ‘Mother of the Universe’ Who draws all unto Her starry bosom…

In a similar way many are afraid (often illogically) of spiders or arachnids, and this is one of the parallels drawn in ‘The Book of the Spider’. Female spiders devour their mates, but this can be ecstatic rather than a struggle if we surrender like Shiva to the Goddess’ embrace. All metaphorical images, but the essence of The Book of the Spider seems to be about facing and therefore alleviating our fears, whether in relation to death, sex, inevitability (/’Fate’ ), surrender of control or any combination thereof…

Is Arachnean energy a fluid, dynamic convergence of you as magician in astral worlds?
Aside from the aspects I just touched upon –and as a magickian I seem to often confront people with such undeniable aspects of reality- I see pretty much all magic as spider magick of a sort, since magic is all about drawing (or becoming aware of) threads or webs of connection between one thing and another. So it is an archetype I often adopt, astrally and otherwise, in this great wyrd weaving. But as well as a personal aspect of my anima, the Spider-Mother seems intrinsically related to those I work and play with, and so I find myself a part of a ‘Spider Clan’ of sorts, in which context She goes beyond a personal avatar into some kind of tribal overseer or guardian. Then there is of course the Great Mother Kali who presides over all life (and death), so there are many layers to the relationship…

Why the necessity in your life to reflect your astral meetings, in this existential plane?
Otherwise I wouldn’t really be doing Magick, except in an armchair sense, at least not in relation to anyone else. As long as we have physical bodies it is I think vital to earth our experiences on the physical plane, for the sake of Art, beauty and surrealism, and also to create access-points for others to experience these astral realities.

Could we relate Kali-Arachne to a black hole with 8 rays, a symbol of Typhonian magick, a gateway to Universe B, in which the Hermaphroditic Chaorder of the Silver Dusk was built, according to the works of A.O. Spare and Andrew Chumbley? Whoa, that’s some convergence of different magickal paradigms you’ve got happening there! Certainly there is overlap, but to my knowledge (which is by no means complete of course) neither AOS nor Chumbley really wrote directly about any of those things, at least not in those terms although they of course touched similar currents, which is I guess what you’re getting at. I think Kenneth Grant has drawn threads between those terms, but the works of Spare I don’t think mention the concept of Universe B or the Typhonian current, though I’m not sure about Chumbley because he was affiliated with TOTO for a while and created the Ku Sebitu (sp?) in conjunction with Grant.
Universe B works for me as a basic concept of ‘the Other’ and I like Grant Morrison’s take on it as including ‘fictional’ or other such artist-created realities which may refract into the physical world of Universe A. But what about Universe C, D, E or X? Anyway, the ChAOrder was ‘built’ i.e. actually constructed here on the physical plane, well it’s still under construction; but certainly elements of inspiration in this building came from elsewhere, Universe B or some-such!
Typhonian Magick seems primal, animistic, and Typhon is herself intrinsically female (perhaps ‘feminine’ might be an inappropriate term at least in the light of social gender conceptions, although these are rapidly changing!) so yes Kali-Arachne seems to relate to this current. She is the Mother of our Clan, and will swallow us all ultimately back into her great mouth/womb from which we sprung.
So, in a roundabout way- yes!

How do you introduce your own mental transformation into dynamic structure as the hermaphroditic chaorder…? And what’s the main purpose from a magickal platform? Perhaps the manifestation of True Will, having the central doctrine of Self-love; Pure Love under Will?
That works for me. The ChAOrder is a collective expression of True Will, a resonance and communications web of magickal-artistic co-development for those who have found their own individual True Wills- well I would hope most of us have, it seems so.
Spare’s doctrine of Self-love is indeed ultimately intrinsically linked with True Will, since when True Will is fully discovered, self-love is almost inevitable, and/or when self-love is really attained (not just on a superficial level) it is hard to avoid or deny one’s True Will. So that is a most astute observation, Kerval!

You say: ‘Chaos is all around us, within us and without us. Chaos destroys and creates. Chaos is the spontaneous unpredictable movement of the universe.’ So, from such statements could we affirm that “there is no creation without destruction” and vice versa?

To understand chaos we must create and destroy ourselves, I mean to experiment with the dynamism of our essence, to die and rebirth all time again, and again, magickally-speaking?
Yes. As Crowley said, ‘Die daily’. Not, I think, a reference to his heroin habit- since that soon becomes more like a permanent death of the soul without resurrection! –but to the magickal reality of constantly surrendering your conceptions of what you and your reality are, and allowing them to be reborn constantly, with a refreshed perspective. Though ‘chaos magickians’ seem to often have a tendency to overdo this personal death-rebirth thing, creating a kind of entropy which becomes the equivalent of stasis in that the belief-paradigm is so regularly shattered there is no chance to earth anything!
The trick I think is to die and be reborn fairly regularly yet still retain something from the ‘previous birth’ –whether we are talking on a scale of actual incarnate life-times here, or abyss-plumbing, annual overhauls of self and reality, or even ‘daily death’ –thereby building on what we have achieved already, while still re-evaluating and breaking-down what is no longer relevant or useful.

It is known you developed some rituals which included estrogen intake. Were such rituals and use of estrogen a way to increase a hermaphroditic mutation as an alchemic process to awaken the latent feminine energies in each one of us?
It was a personal journey, aimed at transforming myself rather than anyone else, but that’s where all magick has to really start –with the self- so if others were sufficiently inspired or otherwise affected by my journey then perhaps it has helped awaken the latent feminism in other males also?
My Alchymic Wedding was also an actual physical wedding ceremony as it culminated the nine-month journey I took with hermAphroditic reification. The Alchymic Marriage is usually a metaphor, a spiritual rather than physical journey to unveil and unite with the female within the male or the male within the female. I decided to physicalize this process also, as a magickal experiment.
Of course, taking estrogen and the other physical aspects of the process ultimately affected my whole being rather than just my body, so it was a thorough exploration of anima –a true mutation indeed.

How has this physical/mental transformation, helped you to work more into Hermaphroditic Magick? Referring to this, it is known you will write a book revealing aspects of Hermaphroditic Magick. Tell us more about such upcoming book?
Well that book is not something I’m actively specifically working on at the moment as other projects have taken precedence, but as so much of my magickal/artistic work relates to hermaphroditism- actual or symbolic- there is always a lot of potential material for such a work. The idea is that eventually I will compile all of my relevant writing and drawing into some kind of definitive tome on the (broad) subject.

Let’s talk about a few of your activities in: The Horus-Maat Lodge, SilKMilK MagiZain? And also your initiation in the sacred Adinath tantric tradition?
Adinath was the first Tantric lineage I was formally initiated into, so a powerful experiential link with Vedic traditions and mythologies I had begun to explore. The ceremony was immediately surrounded –both forward and drawkcab in timEmit- with omens and magickal phenomena of a most transformative nature. Interestingly as my initiator was ‘Hermeticusnath’ (interviewed elsewhere in this journal under his other magickal name of Aion) – his name itself a play on his equal interest in eastern and western magic- there were also many correlations and magickal links from that initiation with other systems and pantheons such as Ancient Egyptian. My own ongoing work in the Horus-Maat Lodge as well as Hermeticusnath’s (being one of the Lodge’s founders) probably helped divulge such associations.
Since Adinath I have had two other Tantric initiations- Shaktipat into the Muktananda lineage which has proliferated in the west primarily through the ‘Siddhayoga Foundation’ –this was not so magickal in terms of omens, catalysts and such synchronistic phenomena, but was energetically intense as it seemed to help facilitate a further awakening of Kundalini (that was certainly already writhing) for me.
Just recently my third Tantric initiation was the first actually received in India from an Indian Guru- an induction into the extreme path of Aghora. The meditations upon burning corpses I mentioned earlier were a part of this ‘fast path’ to awakening.

My direct involvement with the Horus-Maat Lodge has lessened in the last few years as I have become increasingly involved with the eastern Tantric traditions, and also with establishing the HermAphroditic ChAOrder of the Silver Dusk as a global dis/organization. However I feel the double current of Horus and Maat will always be a strong underpinning foundation for any of my magickal activities. Even before I consciously knew of Nema’s work or The Horus-Maat Lodge I resonated with the idea of an Aeonic double current – that although Crowley’s ‘force and fire’ makes sense for this Age it is only part of the picture, and we can’t just replace the Father with the Son or we’ll end up with another patriarchy.

So a gender-balanced (and since aeonically this is only a metaphor, generally balanced) aeon of Son and Daughter simultaneously makes more sense for our current paradigm –although it could equally well be represented by hermaphroditic deities such as Baphomet as convergences or unions of these twinned currents.
Ultimately of course such gender images are only representative of polarities within the self, so I am not of course advocating a ‘heterosexual age’ or something. Quite to the contrary, the full realization of all ‘genders’ within the self allows any kind of sexual expression free reign.
The Horus-Maat Lodge is a wonderful group of mages many of whose enthusiasm and creativity seem to allow greater development as a loose network of kindred souls than many much more ‘organized’ magickal orders whose activities remain static or repetitive.

SilKMilK MagiZain has taken a back seat for a few years while I’ve been focused on other more personal projects such as my forthcoming graphic grimmoire ‘Conjunctio’ (to be published by Fulgur Limited), but will be revived at some point. It is the primary publishing vehicle of the HermAphroditic ChAOrder of the Silver Dusk and our affiliates, edited and produced by myself but containing works by many which demonstrate the diversity of Magickal Art –in musickal (a full-length audio CD accompanies each print magazine) and textual as well as visual media- produced (primarily) by members of the ChAOrder.

Do you think there is a connection between the Hermaphroditic Chaorder of the Silver Dusk astral temple and Sabbatic Typhonian currents, by the fact of working with qliphotic energies; or is it more a kind of experimentation with different levels of magick?
I’m not sure why you are referring to the astral temple here, being unfamiliar with it (it is only used by initiates of the ChAOrder); so I will take the question in a more general sense in relation to the Silver Dusk as a ChAOrder and Magickal Art Movement: There is definitely a strong element of Sabbatic witchcraft in the Silver Dusk, in terms of sexual gnosis and astral conclaves; and our relationship with primal Typhonian currents I have already touched upon.
The Silver Dusk is not concerned exclusively or even primarily with Qliphotic energies, although exploration of the Nightside of the Tree- especially in relation to the subconscious mind and its revelation and reification via magickal Art- is certainly an important aspect of our work/play. So it is experimentation with different levels of magick, yes, and the connection you suggested with Sabbatic and Typhonian currents is but a strand (or two?) of a vast web of different avenues of exploration, albeit quite large and multi-textured strand/s…

Iv lost count how many times Iv seen it in hundreds of forms. Iv seen what lies behind its Myriad Masks and what it is. It Mirrors my fears and desires. It's been there since I was child...I was into Ninjas, Masks, Aliens, and drew alot of things without faces, but only eyes. It's been there unconsciencely there my whole life. The first conscience realization of it came to me when was 17 to 18. Id been getting heavily into studying Magick, Experimental Industrial muzak, Surrealist art and writing Stream of Conscience Poetry, pushing too much, too fast. I'd sign my poetry "Naked Face" even tho I'd never even read Lovecraft, or herd of Nyarlathotep.
One day at a party, a few days after dropping LSD for the first time, We was sitting in circle, playing word association and telling each other our first impression of each other. This girl looked at me and her eyes got Big and she freaked and ran outside. Everyone confused, someone got her to come back in. She took me off to the side and told me "I seen this thing superimposed over you with no face, it face looked swirly, like it could molded like clay, It was skeleton like with gray-green skin and external ribs, the prettiest thing about it was the its wings. They was large and colorful, tattered butterfly wings". This was coming from someone who was a Virgin, never done drugs and a was bit naive. So I took it heavily into consideration. About 3 weeks later I spent Halloween in a mental hospital, due to being unable to sleep or eat for a week. I felt very uncomfortable in my body like something was blowing up like a balloon, void yet full. I was physically strong, my senses very acute to the point of it being unnerving, and I wasn't on drugs. They was giving me anti-psychotics and sleeping pills which had no effect. They was scratching their heads, trying to figure out what to do with me. I manipulated the psychiatrist to let me out, coz treatment was doing no good. I Flushed the pills, drank some beer ,smoked some weed with some friends and I felt alot better.
Since then... Well that's a very complex story...Put this way; Eventually I Signed the book of AZATHOTH in my own blood, requested to be an extension of Nyarlathotep:It said; "Your Wish was granted, but you will not know when it will come and if it'll ever end..."
Iv watched my own face be Assemutated into its Collective-Manifold - Totem-pole. Iv found my self a to be a Director in the E.O.Dagon, I started a Messenger ov Kaos group upon its request. It marked me in a dream with a angled rune on the brow over my right eye with a sword. It did come and I don't know if it'll ever end...

Theory: The sleep/waking boundary is arbitrary, mutable, and reversible. Its permeability is determined by the development of functions here referred to as "bridges." The bridge from waking to sleep (i.e. access of sleep contents while awake) is dream recall. The bridge from sleep to waking is lucid dreaming. Thus:

Under usual conditions (including intensive social reinforcement), the waking reality is actual, relative to the dream which is virtual. These valuations too are mutable. Practice: Ideally, the practitioner is physically safe, but in a spiritually and intellectually unsatisfying situation. It is advisable to undertake this practice only in good health. Unusually rapid "progress" may be made during illness, but what dangers there are in this rite are greatly magnified. Likewise, psychoactive drugs are neither required nor recommended during this rite. Stimulants must be avoided. Practice requires a period of one month. The entire rite is performed indoors. Activity must be restricted to no more than four rooms. (Actually, a studio apartment is ideal.) Note that this requires stocks of preserved foods and nutritional supplements, or a provisioning assistant. N.B. It is wise to have this latter in any case, in order to anticipate and deflect outside interference with the rite. The sigil of Qulielfi (viz. Liber CCXXXI) should be embroidered onto the pillow used for sleep or painted on the ceiling over the bed. The rite is performed by sleeping. Extend the period of sleep a half hour every day until sleep takes up at least 18 hours out of every 24. If temporary insomnia occurs at any point, remain in bed and daydream or use "Qulielfi" as a mantra. "Typical" Scenario: 1st week: Fine-tune dreaming reality by adept use of bridges. At the end of this week--as sleep approaches 12 hours per day--"prophetic" dreams begin. Elements from dreams will recur in waking in the same way that waking elements ordinarily recur in dreams. 2nd week: Dream reality begins to cohere. Do not continue the rite past the second week if the dream reality is threatening at the end of this period. 3rd week: "Waking" reality begins to dissolve. Do not continue the rite past the third week if bridges are not well-established (unless it is your Will to thoroughly abandon the waking reality with little chance of reconnecting to it). 4th week: Waking reality now subsidiary to discrete, materialized dream reality. Notes:Depending on the strength of the bridges and the depth of the stage that is indicated above as the "4th week," the return may be to a different (by varying degrees) waking world than the original one. With strong bridges it should be possible to maintain the original waking world through a series of rites (as many as six or more in one year--though creative use of time dilation could improve this immeasurably) which establish widely differing dream worlds, creating a radial reality structure with the waking world at its hub. Rather than returning to a "normal" schedule at the end of the rite, it is possible to go to one of 10 to 14 hours of sleep per day and thus work the limen between the two worlds to thaumaturgical effect in either.

Life as a Succession of facts, memories, events, mental constructions, ideas, nightmares, elapse so indeterminate, senseless; fragments that are trampling indiscriminately, creating parallel universes that are in the chaos of reality or interfere with it.
An image was projected in my mind, a white square and two subjects interacting in three basic colors, red, black and white. Some loose elements (subjects and colors), cut the linear time elapsing, eliminating the human subjects, transforming them into space, into color. Reaching by a fraction of time to be alive, and to convey this energy to the crowd, and then to people who see part of the register in photos or videos.

Louis Fleischauer founder of AESTHETIC MEAT FRONT was born in Leipzig/East Germany behind the iron curtain and after living in Usa, he returns to Germany now in 2008.The art of Louis Fleischauer is an invocation of primal energy as an answer to a sterilized, consumer friendly reality shaped by a mass media to bread one homogenized people. Living within an artificial reality they 'civilized' people have become disconnected from their true nature. Louis' art seeks to reopen a channel to the Pristine Self within the mind of the beholder.

Herr Fleischauer is a sculptor and performer using organic materials such as animal hides, bones, flowers, blood and his own skin. In his public rituals he turns humans into living sculptures and instruments, including his own body. Through a mix of agony and euphoria Louis falls into a state of trance. A fundamental principle in A-M-F is to unleash dynamic states of consciousness through pain, ecstasy as tool for self awareness?

Pain, exhaustion and euphoria have been utilized since ancient times to alter states of consciousness. We utilize those ritual practices and sometimes combine them with modern technology (simulated brain wave frequencies, translation of pain into sound, lights etc) in order to gain different states of self awareness.

What represents for you self awareness? And from an individual point, how this self awareness is related to worship pleasure and experience of ecstasy in your existence in this physical plane?

Self Awareness is ever present as long you are consciously aware of any part of your self, to befully self aware you need to explore the hidden corners of your (sub)-consciousness, the ritual of self worship through pleasure and ecstasy is one way to experience your inner Self to the fullest.

Or do you think your art, transcends all senses in this plane? A-M-F is a gate to your own transcendental reality through carnal experimentation to connect yourself with another dimension of a psychic/spiritual Character?

While I utilize all senses known to be consumed by the flesh of the beholder in my art, there are dimensions and demons that need to be excavated in private. None the less A-M-F can definitely be seen as a ritual tool to shape-shift realities for everyone involved.

Each deprogramming public ritual has a basic concept to explore: Disintegration of mind, human devolution, Self Awareness, Ritual as Purest form of Resistance. So, is your intention to put audience in a state of trance with the purpose to unleash mind in aseries of labyrinths in which people meet its own will through visual, audial, suggestive methods?

The ultimate goal of A-M-F's public rituals is to help the participant to reach a state of mind that is awakening to a point where the mind is able to reconnect with its primordial self. What to do with this knowledge is up to the individual.

How was transformed in your mind the creative idea to generate this symbiosis between flesh, blood, sounds, through AESTHETIC MEAT FRONT?

It all started out with a small piece of meat during my first stage experience in 1993, working with this raw element triggered something in my mind, the law of natural evolution did the rest.

And how has been the development at psychic level, since the beginning in 1996 to now year 2008 according your experiences in visual art as transformation bodyand sculptures?

These days I communicate with the audience more on a level of internal intensity rather then externally. My Sculptures are no longer just wearable art, they have transformed into tools for psychological games (for example chastity belts with hooks, hoods with sound chambers, that cover and blindfold your face, that have springs connected to your body).

And in which way the works of A.O.Spare, Wilhelm Reich, Lovecraft, and Crowley have inspired you in one or another way for your personal development which is obviously reflected in A-M-F?

Spare: His mind was absolutely beautiful. On a practical level I found his form of Kaos magic and experiments with white noise very useful. But also been highly inspired by his writing and drawings.

Crowley: The exercise of Will, his tragic ending as warning, but most of all his "Liber O.Z." themanifesto of the rights of mankind.

Reich: His Orgone theory, especially with the high concentration of orgone in blood which goes well with the Aztec "Tonally"(animating spirit), the energy that keeps the universe in motion. This energy is the essential nourishment of the gods. The core source of this alluring energy is the nectar of life.

Lovecraft: How he gets your mind spinning by only giving hints and lets your fantasy do the rest. The reader can't just consume a finished product, the reader has to participate, and no one will have the exact same experience. It's this form of shape-shifting reality within the mind of the reader that truly inspired me for my public rituals.

What’s “Evolution” for you? Perhaps as a self-awareness, and understanding of our own natures, having in “true will” a platform for this “evolution-Involution”, in a neither, neither state? A neutral state of mind?

Evolution in my definition is a change that has to be beneficial to the subject that goes through a transformation. On a personal level, I believe one needs to be willing to understand it's inner demons in order to become completely self aware, for this is the foundation of spiritual growth. A neutral state of mind can only be benefits for a very limited period of time before it breeds stasis. Struggle is the engine of evolution.Unfortunately mankind likes comfort and stability a bit too much for it's own good and thus humanity has entered a state of de-volution. The general population uses technology and mass communication mostly as tool to kill off their senses and intellect. They numb themselves with entertainment that offers non-information and over stimulation. Our bodies become monstrous lard puppets that have to be transported in wheelchairs, 3-9% off all children have Attention Deficit Disorder, our brains can't process the simple mathematical transaction without acalculator and god only knows how this interview would look without Spell Check!

Tell us a few, about the great development, and general concept behind “Temple Of Flesh” album, and its connection with invocation of blood sun rituals2003/2004?

"Temple of Flesh" is a momentous release in many ways. It is A-M-F's 10 Year anniversary release. The package is a mix of A-M-F history and a reflection of to this dates our most intense ritual series. I made 3 versions of this release:the regular edition:CD, elegantly packaged in a DVD case, Temple of Flesh comes with 6 double-sided cards reflecting the essence of an A-M-F ritual.

"10 Years of Public Deprogramming" edition (limited to 180) with the Temple of Flesh CD, the Blood Sun Rising DVD-r, 996 006 CDR of unreleased Materials and remixes of 1 track of each previous releases. The Flesh Box was limited to only 27 had all the above plus scripts from public rituals, and propaganda posters soaked in cow blood, skull and bone fragments and other remains from previous rituals.

Yet most intriguing part of the Flesh Box was a surprise of un-released material from the A-M-F archives, such as original video tapes from early A-M-F rituals, cdrs with, raw sound sources, cassette tapes, and floppydiscs of songs and sounds. All this was packaged in a wound covered skin jacket, hand sculpted by myself. Each Flesh Box will was unique and included different original material from the A-M-F archives.

The "Blood Sun Rituals" was a series of Public Rituals based on this invocation:

Later I manipulated and mixed those words with other sounds to sculpt the sound scape for 13 versions of the invocation above.The idea behind the Blood Sun Rituals was to overcome once own numbness, that is created by artificial fears injected daily into our veins by the machinery of corporate mass media. In order to overcome this, one must first re-discover the beauty of Life's intensity.Your body holds the key to this intensity.
At your live rituals, lots of blood is spread from your own body.so, obviously a high quantity of energy is released. Is known some Qliphotic entities need the energy of blood to enter this existential plane... How do you handle such energies and is blood for you a key to a primal state of consciousness?
Never had any problems with blood hungry creatures from outer space, but blood is most definitely a key to primal state of consciousness, the first act in our life in to be covered in blood and embryonic fluids, blood represents birth and death, an open wound is a reflection of the gate to the womb we all want to return to, yet the same wound is also a mirror to your own mortality, how much more primal can you get?

What do you feel, visualize, think when doing suspension, floating in the void covered in blood and experience ecstasy of “pain” ?
I never think when I hang. Visualization and feelings all depend on the environment; I'm very sensitive to what happens around me, sound, light and also the human energy of the audience play a large factor on what is going on in my mind, while I'm travelling above the ground.

Does your primal instincts having any connection with Atavistic Shamanic Teutonic tribes, or Aztec cults, knowing they worship blood as an universal consciousness, a gate between two dimensions (earth/beyond)?
When we invoke our primal instinct we tap into the same vein our forefathers did during their rituals, no matter which gods they invoked.

I know a split Cd between A-M-F/PSYCHONAUT 75 was released.so, could you tell us a few more about this album?
Michael Ford and I have share some of the same visions and are natural allies. I worked with Dana Dark and Ugly Shyla before, one thing let to another and we decided to work on a joint release reflecting our rituals.
I don't want to talk for Psychonaut 75's part of the release, as it is not my creation, but here is the info behind the A-M-F half of this release:The raw material for tracks 2 and 3 is taken from “Pure Kaos Against Total Control”- a public deprogramming ritual, performed in London in November of 2001.

The smell of fear and burning flesh filled the air. Needles penetrated my head and hooks pierced the skin of my back. The taste of noise and pain laid on my chanting tongue. I’m apiece of meat, hanging from hooks above the ground. I’m past the point of agony, I’m dead, nolonger, blood streaming down my face, I have become the Phoenix. The focus of this recording was to capture this moment of transformation by painting a sonique landscape that reflects my experience and interpretation of the Bird Of Oblivion.Other sounds used in this recording are samples of human bone and the removal of flesh, blood, as well a variety of samples taken from unconventional instruments that have been refined at the studio.

Do you have any video material to be released yet? What about your new album or live performances? Temple of Flesh's limited edition comes with a DVD-r of the Blood Sun Rising rituals, then there is the infected blood Video, released with the special edition of “Plague of Humanity”. Currently I'm taking a little pause from recording. Does the use of chains, metal, blood is a suggestive way to visualize expresses your own reality at stage; and is amazing to see audience entering in the mental state when performing your live rituals? Any visual effects to increase the ecstasy and mentalorgasm in future performances?A-M-F is all about creating once own reality, and this starts on stage. There is almost nothing as rewarding for me then to see a real transformation with the mind of an individual in the audience.As for new visuals, at the moment I'm utilizing a lot of my leather work with on stage, to create human instruments.

You says: “fear is a tool to awaken people, to confront people with their own fears”. so, I ask you: How do you confront your own fears? Are fears inhibitions and mental infections imposed by modern society?
Best Way to confront your fear is to face it, I try to do this when ever possible, sometimes that can not be so easily accomplished.You just need to spend 2 minutes at the airport to see how fears are pounded into the minds of the travellers. Look at how often the word SAFETY is invoked. Every time you use a word like SAFETY, SECURITY, BE CAREFUL, etc you automatically suggest that there is somethingto be afraid of. Our society fetishizes those words and media wants us to believe that there is a faceless Terrorist on the way to our own bedrooms.

Is each ritual of A-M-F a personal entrance to a psychic, spiritual, corporal pattern in which you die and reborn, a creation and dissolution of your own reality based in pain, ecstasy and pleasure?
All A-M-F rituals are different, sometimes I die, sometimes I'm reborn, sometimes dissolution comes in form of depression the days after the ritual. The days after a Suspension awareness is still extremely strong, but one is taken out of the fleshly beautiful set of the ritual, and put back into the meaninglessness of our daily conduct just so we can survive in this plastic world.

Last week you were in Amsterdam generating the “Symphony Of Flesh” live ritual...Could you comment us about such performance and the general concept behind it?
“A Symphony of Flesh” performs rituals turning humans into instruments through body modification, transforming the agony and euphoria of the stage into sonique energy to be devoured by the audience. The energy is designed to slowly build and intensity as the ritual goes on. As the energy gains on intensity the audience is encouraged to participate by playing those human instruments and thus add and manipulate the level of ferociousness.

Before finishing with this conversation, is of high interest to know what comes for A-M-F activities relating new albums, live performances, etc?
2008 is going to be a year of personal transformation and soul searching, not sure how much time I will have to spend on new records, but there are some seeds planted, one just needs to see how long the need to blossom. There are going to be a very few public rituals this year, if all goes well one of them will be in Tokyo this summer.

Claudio Carvalho is a Brazilian artist and hermetist for many years. Into art he has been working with strange models from my unconsciouness,inspired by the works of Austin Osman Spare,and other magickal artists. he assumes for himself as focus to manifest determined forces from unseen to visible. As to Tarot, he is dedicated to Tarotic Science from early 80 years, however, his searching is directed to the Crowley & Harris Tarot since 1985, period of which he discovered it for his life. so here is the answers to some questions from this dedicated South American magickian and artist give to us.

Since your childhood transdimensional alien energies, were expressed through oniric realms, right! In which way such contacts awaken in yourself a kind of magickal, artistical transformation, which is latent in each one of your drawings?
I started drawing very young yet. My designs were based on the pre-history specimens that had been extinct millions of years ago. These were some reptiles, amphibians and insects. For me this has indicated a strong connection with a subtle Current too old, the symptoms were clear.
From my pre-adolescence new lines were taking shape, several portraits that emerges of some aliens source that arose spontaneously in my imagination, however, the atmosphere and excitement were totally real, because I led to a kind of mental introversion very strong. I did dream also with very remote places localized here on Earth and other planes out there, whose geography was very strange, as was young I did not know and had no clue of what were all those places. But I did receive some confirmations many years later.
In short, there was a spontaneous development into me, but I had no understanding necessary to interpret it and each day had been expressing more and more.

Or do you think your studies and learnings in the fields of magick, occultism, art, and symbology were important points for a perfect complement with your artistical, visionary attributes as artist?
It was inevitable; I have always been avid for knowledge. Of course, it helped. I think it was a consequence to that I could improve the drawings that I make today.

Is known automatic drawing is a method used by you Claudio. so, explain us a few about such technique and how does it comes to your consciousness lines, traces to create a determinate drawing. And when do you think you have finished such artistical expressionism?
The automatism according to some, it explores the exact moment when the Ego is not in the "command". In this hour I am really with my attention fully aligned to my inspiration when there is no interference mental, it is like a flow of the here and now. When you finish the design, it seems that you did it in fraction of seconds and did not take any time in achieving it. It is very difficult to put that into words. In the end, it is as I said above, the time-space back to the "reality" of the Ego, usually typified for the conscience awakens or so-called vigil.

You are married with Lilia Palmeira right! Due the perfect complement through both of you. In the magickal, artistical expressionism. Could we say she is the “black eagle”(as Mr Spare express) a materialization from a sub-conscious deep desire of Claudio from many years ago?
This is a good question. And the answer is yes and no. She is my muse, shakti, suvasini, Black Eagle, companion, as you like. But there is another perspective about that, so that I don’t prefer going into details, sorry.

Due, you works with the techniques of atavism resurgence…how has been to understand, to compenetrate yourself with such primal sub-conscious energies? And what about to work with qliphotic energies?
It works like an intense and deep immersion into his Self. The understanding and the keys come with the necessary daily experience with these energies.
The qliphotics energy under my point of view is completely different from the vision of Aleister Crowley and others still see in this way.
I regard this type of alien energy, i.e. Your Unconscious, where you usually make incessant Congress, or interact closely with these forces for self. There are two pillars within man, two Polarities that form a chain of reactions that are commonly unwanted states in humans, which leads to a large seesaw as it goes and comes in the game of life. These reactions or links are in devastating all the time, and there are several adjectives for them, such as compulsion, insecurity, hatred, sadness and so on. But these Primordial Polarities need to be neutralized, and thus integrate the man to his Self.

This is one of the forms and operations with the qliphoth.
Kenneth Grant speaks of Babalon as archetype of qliphoth or the Outer Forces and there is another key to the value of a shakti prepared and carved for this "task".
Black Eagle as previous example opens doors while the qliphoth are vehicles that lead us to the self. So there was some "movement", purposeful of course, to conceal the real function of qliphoth, otherwise what would be the Tunnels of Seth, the Formula 231 applied to them that not even Crowley succeeded to understand. Applying the Arithmology on this we can see an interesting mathematic as 2 = Cooperation, 3 = Expansion and 1 = Activation. These three combinations only arise if you can access the qliphoth accurately.

Which doors were open to your psychic world, to work with such energies? And in which way do you think the influence of A.O.Spare and the Zos Kia Kultus helped you to your personal, artistical development?
As I said earlier, from the moment that I do neutralize my Inner Polarities. I am sure that I am still in that process.
Ok, now, we’re on the other point. Every impulse or irradiation is what expresses a genuine Current, has a kind of gravitation, this attracts those who are prepared or have innate ability to this energy, so he receives the emanations of the Core of Current. Obviously, you also receive some of those who are also linked to the Core of Current. It’s a form of “alien nutrition” because it transcends the terrestrial conscience. It has been helping and continues to help me and others who are connected in some way through the inner planes.

Is known you are working together Lila Palmeira in a project called THE SOCIEDADE LAMATRONIKA.so, could you reveal us more about such project? And where from comes to your mind the idea of such development?
The SL is an outer gateway from something very internalized. I would like to put this clear that it is not an Organization that accepts people or have some kind of status.
The SL works as organizer of holistic events as the word suggests, it contains several strands into its work, such as energetic therapy, tarot, occultism, witchcraft, art and so on. No matter what about the line addressed since there is no serious basis and work. We are not bound by close ties to any physical established Order. Its development is becoming a serious and responsible vehicle of knowledge to those interested.

Is there any connection between the sociedade lamatronika and the LAM entity, represented through the current 93 and the works of Aleister Crowley?
Yes. The SL is an engineering of LAM. This Gateway as any other genuine Current is developing continuously, ad æternum, thus LAM has been developing since the Crowley times, and before him has been turning and after we continue this process always on, to go.

Does your principal point through your graphic symbology (drawings) is to represents a definite language designed to facilitate your communication with your own subliminal-psychic world?
Surely. Any genuine artist, not just designer or painter, but also playwrights, sculptors, writers, dancers, poets and even those who work into scientific fields, when one does something for love and total dedication, everyone within his/her specialty, with his/her own language and consequently using a formula combined with the subtle language, certainly he/she will be guided to the object beloved.
In terms very technical, I have a vehicle that can be called AL'AN that can be guided to the manifestation through "Plastos Atmosféricos", as they are conduits of energy they bring and take power from invisible to the visible and vice versa.
Any artist brings something not only to manifestation, he also leads, and this is a typical formula for Reversal of Senses that Kenneth Grant presents in his books.

you told me about the inspirational source of the current 93,thoth cards…so, in your opinion in which way do you think such influences marks you to improve your way of living through your own magickal reality?
The Tarot as a whole, but especially the Tarot of Thoth serves as a model or graphic to my path. I can say that there is a closest symbiosis between me and Tarot. I thought one thing that you said before very interesting.
The 93 current is fully connected and vice versa (remember about what I spoken before as to invisible and visible) with the Thoth Cards. I’ll indicate one point which is usually the resulted of much discussion around it. The Thoth Cards NEVER was an accurate creation of Crowley; he was only a vehicle as could have been anyone that was capable for this task. I say the same thing about the Book of the Law, Aiwass never was the Holy Guardian of Crowley, and he understood about that into his last eight years of life.
If there was no a innate skill of Crowley, about the BE of him, the best of all scarlet women of him, Lady Frieda Harris, I do think that the new Tarotic formatting never would manifest at that period, perhaps years later, because nobody is irreplaceable referring to tasks. If a person does not correct, they put other one into the place. The Brethrens has means to do so. Many authors before Crowley, and even then as Idries Shah Zayed said that the Tarot needed to be reviewed. And so it was done. I believe that the next 1000 years at least, there will be no need to re-structure the Tarot. This is one of the things that I will put in my future book on the Tarot of Thoth. Maybe this is my reality magic.

And from your own perspective, which is “reality” for you? Perhaps, reality is just an illusion, and it depends exclusively on personal emanations through this existential plane?
The reality is your own universe, or your consciousness. Inevitably that your reality will interact with other universes those are similar so that they are connected by a subtle network as an arachnidan network. Now, there is another reality that is far beyond the division, but only being there to know it (differently to understanding it). In my case I only know that, I still no understanding what is there beyond. Perhaps all this is an Illusion indeed. It can be red the god Shiva?
Then, could we say all limits & limitations are illusions, because reality is changing constantly, is transforming all the time? So, reality as a matter of energy & conception?
Something likes this. But all this Kerval, will penetrate into the field of intellect and the words. What I can say about that we need to understanding, not just to know.

You were talking about a direct communication between the visible & invisible which you called “Fantastic Atmospheric Tangential” so, is this kind of neither-neither? Appoint where converges fantastic, atmospheric, tangential creating a concrete artistical force?
Yes. I explore my universe from this way. In reference to the convergence I can synthesize it as follows:
Fantastic – What only has existence into the imagination; existing into the imagination. Atmospheric - The air and the environment; the sky. Gases surrounding the Earth, i.e. Oxygen & Azote = Nitrogen.
Tangential – Related to tangent - Line or other surface area that comes at one point.
Fantastic Atmosphere Tangent reflects a subjective communication, though direct, between the visible and invisible, through which named as atmospheric plastos, which is manifested into æsthesis perceived or impress with into awake consciousness by the fantastic or somehow the personal imaginary from the artist. These impressions are integrated in this way as spirits in the frame paper, reificating images and opening new doors towards Quintessential Source (Azote of Wises).
The objective Form appears with Its Real Essence without losing the subtle perspectives from the Non-form. Thus, the lines and traces of my art can express a "purely aesthetic tangential" that interpenetrate dimensions merging two kind of universes, the manifested and imanifested.

Reveal us a few about your upcoming projects and your last artistical expressions?
Learning and advancing. We have been planning to expose our artwork into some galleries, perhaps in 2009 if there is no time for that at this moment, because we have much work to complete in 2008.
We are working in order to bring serious experts, scholars and so on from the other Countries giving a good chance for the Brazilian public can interact with an excellent source of knowledge, besides the Brazilian public is avid for knowledge and also very curious. Brazil is an excellent source of natural wealth’s, especially in the field spiritual, but there is a huge gap in the holistic scene. Maybe by our culture, so corrupted at the time of the military dictatorship in the 60 and 70 years and even geographical distance from Europe, where is the vanguard of this knowledge.

We also change something at least in this area; there are many suspicious eyes coming out there, because of a mediocre handful that caused this here in Brazil. There is unfortunately a "hidden" rancid which comes from Marcelo Motta and does continue through his followers that fouled the Brazilian image in this scene for over forty years. Now we have to clean it, and the results appear little by little, because the SL is becoming a Brazilian reference for other countries.

Well, I hope that new hidden talent in the scene may arise, always mirroring caressingly into their Selves. Take a life simple, labour & pleasure are combined very well. There is time for everything into the life. Balance the four plans, material, mental, emotional and spiritual. If one of these is wrong, nothing other states have been worked out well, one hour the “inner house” falls.

The ancestors are those who have come before and now stand at ones back. It is their combined weight that fills and informs the sorcerers' words in their becoming. The ancestors may include many or few, their number or numberlessness is a choice of the individual practitioner They contain within themselves all that has combined to make us what we are. It is as if they stand holding hands in an unbroken line that reaches back before the creation of this world. The rites allow us to consciously take our place in this great line. To speak the name of all of ones ancestors is to speak ones own name in its most pregnant fullness.

The following is a description of a rite I perform in the morning upon rising. Altar - The altar faces North and through it flows the combined wills of all those dead who have gone before. On the altar are objects that carry the touch of physical esthetic and spiritual ancestors. A large figure stands upon the altar. It is infused with the virtue of the obsession that brought me into incarnation. Food/Drink - There is a cup upon the altar containing sweet and bitter waters. Sugar A used to create the sweet inland water and salt is added to form the bitter sea water. The contents of the cup are replenished as needed. Each time more liquid is added to the cup, a plate of food is prepared and set upon the altar. It may be important to note that when human ancestors feed, they do not leave mold upon the food. The growth of mold points to pre-human appetites. Rite - Enter the temple and stand before the altar. Both hands form the gesture of the Marassa (twins) as separate. This is done by bending down the three mid-fingers and separating the thumb and small finger as far as possible. The Marassa stand apart.

While in this gesture, create the self as separate from all about it. Next, join the small finger and the thumb. Spread the three mid-fingers in the form of a triangle. The joining of the thumb and the small finger is the union of the Marassa. The three mid fingers form the Cower created by this union. The configuration illustrates the formula 1 + 1 = 3. In this equation, the plus sign is seen as the third element. That which unites the twins forms three. Dip the joined small and mid fingers into the waters. Hold both hands up while creating a current and sending it back in time through the link of the ancestors. One hand sends current back through the fathers side and the other hand sends current back through the mothers side. Repeat the names and image all the ancestors that are remembered. Send the current back past conscious memory.

At some moment in its travels, the current will seem to weaken. Call the current back upon yourself the instant before it begins to weaken. This becomes quite easy with practice. When the current strikes, eat the names of all remembered and forgotten ancestors. Touch the forehead with the joined fingers of both hands. Depart from the temple.

For me your strong relationship with Pan is a kind of spiritual marriage… so, how such union transformed D. Sargent in a magickal force known as AION?
That is one of the most insightful questions anyone has ever asked me. I was a Pagan in the 1970s, initiated into Wicca at 14 yrs old and really just always knew I was a feral critter, most at home in the woods- then I went camping alone in the mountains and BAM met Pan- I wrote a poem about that first encounter:PURPOSEFUL AIMLESSNESS to reverse unnatural ORDER of things to untangle the twisted knots of reversible inconsistents one must...Dance. illogically ssspin & sing Those songs never uttered never known ...irrational... evoke those presences never felt to see the unknowable realize the impossible to find that which you do not seek That which you’ve always had in your hands Love and merge with the fearful chaos of life....laughing And in such pursuits ever mark ye the print of the hoof…After that, at college, in a state of walking trance one day I ‘got’ my motto- All into One Into None- it seemed in a burst of insight to me to be the formula of all attainment of Gnosis- at least from my point of view. AIOIN- a few days later, I not being a Qabalist at that point, a Soror of our circle (in NYC- The Grove of the Star & Snake) informed me that my fixation” Pan” was 131 and so was AION... I realized that the second ‘into’- wasn’t really there in the formula- because once Unity (one) exists- it is NONE- Kether is Tao….something like that. Is the mask of AION a kind of astral magickal form of psychic energy transformed into this physical plane?

Holy shit. I don’t know. What a questions!I guess so- it is just a mask for some energy- when I was living as a caretaker of a ski lodge in the high mountains (really) I had the vision of each being as a ‘donut’ of energy, up & out , like a magnet w/2 poles but- a hollow center- void filled Maybe I´m that.A big happy Tao-filled donut of orgone.

Do you think it’s important for you to respect nature to understand its powers and attributes and to use it as integral parts in our inner self?

More than anything. Nature is All- Pan is merely a lense of the Goddess- As the Tao the Ching says (not to beat this Taoist thing to death here) ‘How do I know all this is true? By observing Nature’We damage Gaia, we kill ourselves.

Talking about nature…people think paganism is to worship deities inside nature. From my perspective paganism in its powerful facet is to know, understand and to dominate with wisdom the cosmic laws which “inhabits” the earth. Your opinion?I`m in agreement EXCEPT the word/idea of Dominate- quite the opposite. The more one strives, the more harm one creates- to do without doing, a terribly hard thing to do in this world, is my goal- I love sailing- no one dominates in sailing. You steer, tack, come about, read the tides and currents, cut the sails and feel your way with the wind and weather. That is life when following your True Will- you are following your Orbit- nothing more. When sailing, the smaller the ripples and the wake, the faster and smoother you are going. LOL!All of those concepts are dust- matter is energy, energy is matter, one becomes the other- nothing is lost or found- only transformation. Or the echo of it exists…Even that is a silly pile of dust- I can’t believe I’m doing this- quoting myself….oy!In my Book of Pan it says:. No-thing has changed or ever was. All illusions change as rapidly as that-which projects-illusion changes. I am the Stage and incorporate all Pieces in the Game as well as the Player.. Each Seed has an essence which it must fulfill as it grows... a rock is there? Around. Lightening? A new shoot. Disease? A new branch. Until it too becomes that which will be a Seed again.. I am currently what could be called a ‘tantrick householder’, a wonderful title that Tantrick magick gives to those who choose a magickal path along with the mundane path of spouse, parent, worker etc- I honestly see the most magickal things in my life as my work (I’m an ESL Teacher Trainer) and my family- especially my teenage autistic kid.It is all magick- every day is some sort of initiation, In terms of what others might call magick….My art is #!- I’m a ceramic artist, I create ritual vessels- some I sell through a new age store, the large hand built pieces are being collected for a potential show as I slide into old age, I see myself as a magickal ceramic artist- I got a new throwing wheel for My 50th birthday and plan to create a studio at my home- I started with clay magick in 1974- got very serious (a number of shows) decided the life was too hard and slid into teaching ESL for 18 years- I now return…I am also an author- mostly ‘occult’ books and I see this as a crucial arena for expressing myself to a wider magickal community- my books are: BOOKS PUBLISHED:

You traveled here to Peru, South America, which were the principal magickal transmutations performed in such sacred land? Any sacred plants consumed in your shamanic trips to meet god pan, heheh?

Sophia and I love to travel, we loved Peru but didn’t do any formal rituals with indigenous peoples- but we did do many impromptu rites earthing the Double Current at various amazing & glowing sites like Macchu Picchu.Some of the key symbols we encountered- the stepped Inca cross- resonated powerfully for us…they are now part of our inner reality.

Great question.Yes and no we connect with others in many ways and that connection- as abstract as it is in cyberspace, is as real as anything else and as a Taoist/Buddhist I truly think nothing Is real… I once did a radio show pushing a book (Global Ritualism) and on it a tech guy talked about cyberspace being the exoskeleton of a greater consciousness or being- a group mind of the human race (what some call N’Aton) this is the evolutionary hope I think. I’m just not sure of that for myself, I know that is what Nema thinks.I guess so, since I think that we are going to end up doing that eventually anyway But- and here I do have some strong feelings, it has become trendy in the new occult movements to focus on interstellar ort alien beings, it seems to me to be a bit Xian (they will save us!) and there is a real possibility of mistaking the map for the territory here.Inner work is inner work- I have see Cthulhu, Lam and any number of other alien beings in dream, with some very wild and powerful results (the Lam dream coincided with my bathroom mirror being inexplicably flung across the room & smashed by noone…) but, what are we talking about here? When developing a ritual we must be open to influx of “internal” & “external” consiousness.an intense, intuitive translational and ecstatic state of self perfection and realization of reality in its fundamental and ultimate aspects? About this very thing:Here is a long snip from my book GLOBAL RITUALISMChapter 12 review As we blithely swing through the myths, religions, cultures and rituals of the world, it should be obvious that we are only catching select glimpses of a number of massive subjects, like views from a train window as it rushes through numerous countries and odd landscapes. Yet just as days of these glimpses can bestow a sense or feeling about a foreign country, so too (it is hoped) will this overview generate some interesting ideas and conclusions concerning ritual activity. This study of comparative religions and mythologies, through the lense of rituals and ritual patterns, leaves us with a few basic conclusions that neither call for belief nor encourage disbelief;

1. All cultures in every part of the world seems to evolve myths and beliefs in similar ways if left to organically evolve.

2. Philosophical religions such as Buddhism, Islam and Christianity sprung from (usually in reaction to) one of these “organic” natural myth/belief systems and proceeded to impose their teachings in an overt and “non-organic” manner.

3. The natural myths/beliefs/rituals of pre-philosophical religious systems never truly disappear, they simply reemerge in whatever system is imposed. Thus the Goddess became the Virgin Mary, the Black Virgin of Guadalupe, the “sister” of Mohammed, the “mother” of Buddha and so forth. Again, without attaching any positive or negative qualities, let’s look just at ritual making activity and come to some general conclusions:

1. Human beings, no matter where they live on the planet, are ritual-making creatures.

2. There are two main goals of all ritual activity and these two goals are often inextricably entwined; to insure prosperity and to access the divine or spiritual.

3. Virtually all of the more complex rituals in the world generally follow the set pattern or “ritual blueprint” outlined in this book, to wit; Establishing Intent Banishing Creating the Sacred Space Centering the Space Invocation/Evocation: Magick Offerings & Sacrifices Concluding “Postmortem” & Results

4. Though myths, myth systems, rituals, concepts of divinity and ideas about the “spirit world” are widely different around the world, most of these differences are essentially superficial. The points of similarity are remarkable and in this light certain generalizations can be made about all ritual-making cultures.

A. The divine is accessible through a world (or dimension or state of mind) that is different from the usual one.

B. Certain individuals, either through natural gift, heredity, divine grace, hard work or ordination may act as channels to/through this “other” dimension/world etc. or thus have access to the divine.

C. The divine manifests in many forms and with many different “personalities.” Even the most monotheistic cults agree to this in some sense.

D. Though the divine is manifest in numerous powers, gods, forms, aspects, spirits, energies and so forth, most ritualists accept that these many are indeed One (even if this One is actually None). Even the most extreme polytheistic cults agree to this in some sense.

E. The forces, powers and physical manifestations of Nature (especially the human body) were the first energies to be seen and ritually dealt with and are indeed the root of all religious/myth systems of the world, whether they are now acknowledged as being so or not.

The term “archetype” has been use rather liberally in this text to indicate one of many powers, patterns, forms or energies that are apparent and manifest in virtually every culture and that seem to be deeply rooted within the Group Unconscious mind. Most of these archetypes have historically been so identified with natural forces or powers that they are seen as virtually identical, though variations, shifts and differences are common. These universal archetypes emerge in cultures in the form of gods, spirits, kami, kachina and any number of other labels for “immensely powerful supernatural being.” Such personified natural powers as the Earth Mother/Father, the Sky Father/Mother and the Sun God/Goddess are all examples of trans-cultural archetypes.One thing that seems to be a universal constant is simply the existence of this archetypal complex, this system of humans interacting with their creative intelligence, the various layers of their unconscious mind and the world (physical and spiritual) around them in search of the divine or magickal.

Ritual, in a sense, is humanity’s method of attempting to find or create meaning and order in the universe.There are two anthropological schools of thought as to why myths, ritual patterns and what has been referred to as archetypes are so similar around the world, it is simply not important to this treatise as to which is correct, but The first school of thought points to dissemination. In other words, these traditions, ideas and archetypes were formulated somewhere (one could guess Africa, along with the origin of the species) and then were spread by intercultural contact throughout the world.

The second school of thought insists upon “parallel evolution.” The idea is that all people around the world have within them these same archetypes because they share a “group unconscious” or “genetic mind” from whence these patterns and powers emerge into the myths and cultures of different lands, in (of course) slightly different ways. In either case, the conclusions concerning the similarity of myths, rituals and deities still stand and, for all practical purposes, the reason why this is so may matter little to the practicing eclectic ritualist. What is vital to the modern ritualist is that a true appreciation as to the inner and historical lineages of the forces, ideas and rituals he or she is working with is important to his or her work.

Aside from the aspect of it being novel and interesting, the fact that there is very little “new under the sun” means that he or she is (whether he or she realizes it) working with concepts, ideas and practices that reach back into the dawn of human consciousness. In the face of comparative ritualism, the concept of “traditions” or “direct lineages,” while still having power and validity, pale in comparison to the literally infinite store of deeply identical ritual tradition and practice as it has evolved in all places throughout time.It is strongly suggested that a course of actual ritual practice, creation and development be combined with a wide ranging absorption of religious, anthropological, biological, mythological and historical data from any and all cultures that seem to “call” to one. Since we all share common genetic material and possibly a “group mind,” ideas of which cultural myths and practices are “correct” are becoming less and less significant. A look at the “world music” scene gives us vision of eclectic ritualism as it should be viewed today.

Much as electric guitar, African talking drums, Japanese shakahatchi flutes, Greek mandolins, and so on are being combined, so too can ritual aspects be blended. Jazz, Rock, Soul, Juju, Pop and Latin styles of music all seem to be exclusive and disparaging forms; each is a unique and intense expression of a particular culture. Yet in the last few years we have seen adventuresome artists and other musical “ritualists” combine and mate these various musics into new and vital forms of expression.Let this interesting and unique pattern of musical progress be a model for the emergence of a new and more progressive form of Eclectic Ritualism, a movement that has existed for some time but in a fragmented and almost unconscious manner.Most ritualists today who fall outside or on the fringe of organized religions or cults are indeed eclectic ritualists. Yet the overall phenomena, what it signifies, how it seems to be evolving (generally, always generally! Everyone’s way is different and unique) has not before been examined. Now that we have seen how rituals, myths and methods of reaching the divine around the world seem to follow similar patterns and conform to certain general beliefs, let’s examine the practical application of these disassociated ideas and techniques for the practicing eclectic ritualism today!

TOWARDS THE ONE TRUE ORBIT

Eat. Sleep. Shit. Fuck. Die. While the Hindu's assert Ohm as the Noise of the Universe, our ontologial reality shifts towards the ritual of exercising these drives, the noise of whose execution is the Noise of Our Universe. The mammalian. The Monkey-Queen-King. Clothed, fed, and ready to shit on the planet that sustains its ill, awkward, habits. At the expense of itself, its children's futures, and its own super-powered, limitlessly potentialised and woefully underrecognised supreme organ: it's brain. Where everything happens, where life is spilt onto a screen of incredible beauty, eloquence and colour. As a slave to the circuits, the human is incomplete. A jigsaw waiting to have it's last crucial pieces placed, so that a whole perfect picture is arrived at. With a jigsaw, it is often easy enough to guess the final image depicted, but with the fully realised human there are only hints – pictures, words, sounds and sensations barely match the coming together of all the parts into a seemless whole, and no other communication beyond direct experience can lay the final pieces to rest. Incomplete, the human is a fleshy machine, running under the command of whim and a false consciousness of importance. The Philosopher's Stone is glyphed in Alchemy as the final piece of the jigsaw, placed in the heart of the human and catapulting the monkey into the god.

Yet there seems a crucial step missing in these seemingly easy, throw-away and bob's-your-uncle processess. The slavery weadhere to, slaves of our basic circuits governing the autonomy of our nervous and respiratory systems, and our emotions which guide us through a maze of choices, maintaining the illusion 'as if' we actually possessed a choice at all. And there is another problem, besides waking up to these drives. The problem of the many and varied other monkey's who see fit to hijack these circuits for their own gain and profit, at the expense of the individuals speedy realisation of god-hood. Monkey Cult 1. Illuminati 0. That is until people see through a simple set of con-tricks, and begin to take action against Sleeping. Illuminati 1. Monkey Cult 100,000,000 souls.

Let's begin. We have a way to travel, and such delights when we reach the end. If any ideology be adopted at all, it must be perhaps a streamlined Optimism. No utopia romanticism, but a step-ladder for a bold view over a double-dealing and twisted hedge of lies. Let's clarify what happens when capital hijacks these drives for Profit, and instills with the human an extra set of shadow dirves, relative to these others, but not a necessity for survival? Then we have modern consumerist civilisation – a body of socio-biological nerve-complexes moving towards the same orbit of production-consumption-waste. We have encomomic battery syndrome, and a subsequent need to find a cure for this disease, and move towards another orbit.

We wake and we clean oursleves, so that we do not offend other monkeys. We go to work and obey, sure to not offend any monkeys on the way. Just incase we do offend any monkeys, we have guilt and shame attached to all of our emotional responses when a monkey goes blah-blah-blah in our face – or a fight-back reflex if we decide that, no, actually I am top monkey. We make ourselves look better for the other monkeys so that we may appear to be from a good lineage and produce good children. Almost everything we buy we do it with reinforced brainwashing that it will make us a better monkey, less likely to be punished and challenged by another monkey and more likely to get sex from an attractive monkey so we can have monkey children who have an innate potential to be top monkey, as long as we push them to succeed in everything we ever failed at when we were younger monkeys. And all the while we buy more useless and inconsequential shit that other monkeys have told us will make us better monkeys through the hijacking of our innate survial drives, waking, working, sleeping and eating-shiting-fucking-dying in between – all of our lives chisled away around the production of capital for other monkeys so that they can be comfortable top monkeys and we can always dream to be just like them because, provided we follow those instructions, and hell, surely they know best, we can only become a better monkey through doing all of these things and buying this useless crap which the next door neighbour will look upon with envy and instantly acknowledge that you are top monkey, until they go and out and get something better.

And so the wheel turns – but now we have a double samsara - a duty to unplug oursleves from the artificial monkey programme (suits and boots and nice cars and obey and don't offend or upset the people who give you money and remember to spend most of it on shit you don't need) to the natural samsara of general human sentience, whereby a monkey can actually be duped into another wheel in the first place, so not the ideal place to be.

While we are running around, devoting the vast core of our energy to the production of capital and the sustanence of a false economy created by the very finite and laughable 'powers' of financial institutions, we are only an economic battery. We do not live. We produce capital, or attempt to, or endlessly buy shit, producing someone else capital. This is Kali-Yuga. This is the hell we must purge and wake up to before we tackle the other samsara. Marx coined the term False Consciousness for the Economic Battery Syndrome, the first samsara, and the ancients coined the term Karma for the perpetuation of the other: best translated as momentum – the hamster wheel we're perpetually running in without realisation that if we mereley stopped, it would stop turning, and we could step off and drop free-fall into the void.

We tend towards death. Birth is fatal, life is spent obssessed with escaping the invitable, second-guessing its immenance, while the average participant in 'humanity' actively courts it – through the mass-consiousness molds of consumerism, film and television and internet consumption – all sharing the same myths and reaching towards the same Alpha centralised brain-waves after day in and day out participating in the generation of capital. This is death – death of the imagination and the productive instinct – all productivity/energy is invested in living as an economic battery. We court death while we imagine escaping it, symbolically chasing youth because in our cul-de-sac psychology, youth equates with longevity – but we cultivate masks – we are happy with surface illusions, because our minds, numbed as they are by the Economic battery syndrome, cannot reach beyond the surface – we escape time with ourselves, replacing it with the psychic junkmail of media and the wheel of consumption, just so that we do not have to confront the lurking horrors of the unconscious and the implications of its unbridled producing into our manifest world, of the possible host of Truth, or at least the existential reflection of the maimed animals we have become. Maimed by the endless hamster skittering wheel of economy, maimed by the battery acid narcosis that participating in the West amounts to.

H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulu mythos is a wonderful metaphor for this lurking horror – the dweller of the deep, that which is dead cannot die, in eternal sleep – a monster of chaos that will enslave humanity – or at least from an ontic perspective – from the outside looking in – once we surrender to chaos, to Cthulu and the Great Old Ones of Titanic ancient drives hidden in the modern age by the manufactured desire of Empire, we are autonomous – and without the manufactured and implanted false desires of the Market, we are merely a primal froth of becoming, whose only instinct will be towards the Void. If it is the Void we want, how we can we best go about getting it?

Did not the Buddha abbreviate existence to a Hegelian triunity of being-consciousness-bliss? What does he know? But if we think about it, what are we doing with our Eat-Sleep-Shit-Fuck-Die when we can have so much better? We have a human brain, capable of far more than we're exposed to in our to day perpetuation of the economy. Buddha glyphed sentience as Sat-chit-ananda. Being-consciousness-bliss. It is only through the correct manipulation of our brains that we can acknowledge this. And first we must breath. Sit down in a comfortable position. If anyone is around who is likely to disturb you, tell them to go away and leave you alone, then unplug your phone and other buzzing humming gadgets that keep you plugged into a false world. If you're travelling on a bus, or surrounded by strangers, it doesn't matter, nothing they think about what you're doing is important. If they disturb you, tell them to go away and leave you alone.
Time to yourself, with silence, is an important pre-requisite for success in operation wake the monkey. It's vital to get used to the sound of your own heartbeat, and the sound of your many voices. Gain experience of interior silence, where we begin to taste the flavour of the One True Orbit. Reality is a series of choices and sense-judgements made while the majority of the mind is fast-asleep. To wake it is to court a far greater quality of experience, less informed by half-asleep choices. To sit and count breath, long inhales and long exhales, taps us into the currents of the body, and stills the emotions. While our emotions are manipulated on such a grand scale on a daily basis, it surely makes sense to gain personal countrol over them, so we can as much as is possible, choose our own emotional responses over the endless noise of the instinctual circuits.
Inhaling and exhaling is the base rythmn of a human life, so dropping down to the essence of our sentience has an immediate feedback into where we live our life from. If we can begin to live our life from our core, we initiate a more authentic relationship with ourselves and the world. True Will and Tao reside within these experiences of being.As much as there are myriads of distractions taking us away from our One True Orbit, Bondage remains self-inflicted and self-perpetuated. Realising this simple truth oils the discipline required for regular esoteric work - rendering the machinery of enlightenment to take its smoothest course.The course is rarely that smooth, but at least it's not a lie.
